If you automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), QuickBooks automatically detects and tracks everything from start to finish. Just take your mobile device with you and open the mobile app when you start driving and we'll take care of the rest.
However, if you are adding trips manually, Id suggest contacting our QBSE Support Team. They'll provide you details on how long does a car need to be stationary for it to record as a trip. Here's how:
- Click Assistant from the top bar.
- Ask general questions like “How much have I made this year?” or “How many business miles did I log?”
