Why are opening hours on Live chat wrong?

It says Live chat is available until "10pm British" but it's clearly not.
It's not even 7pm here in London and it's already closed. I found the other day it was unavailable after about 6pm as well.

Wow.. the font in this text box is the thinnest font I've ever seen in my life. It's unreadable (I'll attach a screenshot of that too. Why is the User Experience so bad in everything Quickbooks?)

OMG. Can't even upload the screenshot without getting the dumbest ".jpeg files not supported" jpeg IS THE SAME format as jpg *facepalm* Why does no other platform I pay for do stuff like this. Just had to rename the file extension to .jpg to be able to upload. So mind numbing.

 

Wait hang on why does it say "Authentication failed" above this message!? I've signed in with my correct details for my paid subscription!!

Oh. I can't upload 2 items. That's great. More awesome design. See my second screenshot here then.

Why are opening hours on Live chat wrong?

No worries, let me share some insights about UK support hours.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), our UK live chat support is only available from Monday to Friday. Moreover, chat support during weekends is unavailable that's why you're unable to have them as of now. However, our call support are the ones who are available on weekdays and weekends from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

 

Please refer to the details below:

 

    • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat all day, M-F.
    • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
    • Call us. M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and S-S, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

 

On the other hand, let's perform some troubleshooting steps for you to be able to get the correct authentication details on your paid subscription. You can try logging in to your QBO account using a private browser as it ignores websites from using cookies and doesn’t record any history and data. You can use either of these shortcut keys on your keyboard to access incognito mode:

 

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

 

Once it works, you have to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser as an alternative.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks support team. This way, they can securely check your account and provide fixes immediately.
