It's possible the chat business hours are off when you tried contacting us. We are available from 8:00am - 8:00pm GMT, Mondays to Fridays.

Allow me to step in for a moment and route you in the right direction about the direct deposit issue.

 

As mentioned by my colleague, you can contact our QBO Support Team within this time: Monday to Friday from 8 am - 8 pm BST. However, you can still email us with your concern, and we'll usually write back in 1 business day or less.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your browser, enter this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_GB/contact.
  2. Select your QuickBooks product.
  3. Click on the Search for something else tab.
  4. Under Tell us more about your question, enter the issue/topic and click on the Search button.
  5. Go to the Here's how to connect with a QuickBooks expert about section, then click on the Send Email option. 
  6. Enter your information and issue on the Email your question page.

This should help you move forward.

 

Please know the Community has your back. If you have any question or concerns, post them here. I’ll pop right back in to answer them.

Why can't i get on chat

When trying to log into QB for help with a new user profile - the email address that is associated with the new user is not something from our company/account - can we change a profile name.  The details of the profile I need to change are: 
Profile Name I have:  ErinP (need to change to something different)
Email associated with account:  [email address removed]

If you can access the account, we can update your personal information. Please follow the steps below in order to do it:

 

  1. Go to this page: Accounts.intuit.com.
  2. Click Edit on the Email address section.
  3. Enter and confirm the Email address.
  4. Enter a Password.
  5. Click Save.

 

Then, to change your profile name:

 

  1. In the Sign In & Security page, go to the Personal Info section.
  2. Click Edit on the Name field.
  3. Enter a First name and Last name.
  4. Click Save.

 

If you're unable to log in to your account, I'd recommend reaching out to our Phone Support team. An agent will verify the email address for you and guide you on what to do to change your profile name and email associated.

 

I'll show you how:

 

  1. Click the ? Hep icon, and then Contact Us.
  2. Enter I need to change an email address and a profile name.
  3. Click Let's talk.
  4. Choose either Messaging an agent or Get a callback.
