Why does the QTY on an invoice change format when looked at in print preview (eg QTY 4.5 changes to 4.50)? How do I stop it doing that?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, wendysantos.  I'm here to assist you with the formatting of your invoice when viewed in print preview.

To maintain a consistent product quantity format on your invoices in print preview, consider changing your invoice template and checking the box labeled Include Quantity and Rate in Description.

To add a new invoice template, here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.

  2. Choose New Style and opt for Invoice.
  3. Name your new template for easy identification.

  4. Navigate to the Content section and click the center tile to modify.
  5. Check the box labeled Include Quantity and Rate within the Description area.
  6. Click Done to save your changes.

With these adjustments, your invoice should now consistently display the desired quantity format in the print preview.

Moreover, you can record your invoice payments in QuickBooks Online to keep your financials up to date.

Keep your post coming if you have further questions about the quantity format in your invoice in QuickBooks Online. We'll get back to lend a helping hand.
