It may have something to do with the browser you use when accessing your account. To rule out this possibility, we can perform some basic browser troubleshooting. If you're ready, you can use these shortcut keys to access an incognito or private browser:
Once you're in, try to create a journal entry and save it to see if it'll show in your recent journal entry list. If it works and you're able to get through, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
