Hi,
I am self employed, not a Limited company.
I donate to my local church from my business and put under charitable donations, but my church isn't a charity and I have learnt that these expenses are on my balance sheet as an expense and I don't think they should be.
How and what should these be under in chart of accounts and am I allowed to donate to a non charity through my business account? I will put this right depending what it is.
