Hi there, @Munib.
The steps provided by my colleague RaymondJayO above is for QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can follow those steps to see the balance between ordered and sold products in your QBO account.
Additionally, you can always check our Reports and Accounting page for reference. there, you can read and learn some best practices in managing your reports effectively.

I've got an alternative method you can perform to achieve your goal, @rs22.
Purchase orders and sales orders are non-posting transactions. Thus, they won't affect your report totals, customer's and supplier's balances. With this, there isn't a way to run a single report that shows the balance between ordered and sold products. As a workaround, I'd suggest running two separate reports for them.
First, let's run the Open Purchase Orders Detail report for the ordered products. It lets you view how many items are still on order and how many you’ve received so far. I'll guide you how.
The screenshot below shows you the last three steps. For more information, see the Check what’s still on order section through this article: Use Reports To See Your Sales And Stock Status.
Second, let's run the Sales by Product/Service Summary report for the sold products. This way, you can view the balance and total sales for each item. Just go back to the Reports menu. Then, enter the report name in the Search box and open it.
Once done, you can either print or export the two reports to Excel. Then, compare them to see if there's a balance between your ordered and sold products.
In the meantime, I recommend visiting this website: QBO UK Blog. It helps you learn more about our product innovations. Also, you can enter your email address and click Subscribe in the Let's stay in touch section. Doing so will help you get the latest tips, advice, and resources straight to your inbox to help your business succeed.
Also, you can click Customise at the upper right of the two reports. From there, you'll be able to apply multiple filters to get the specific information you need the most. For more details, see Step 2 through this article: Customising Reports.
Please know that I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Take care always, @rs22.
