What is happening when they attempt to view the customised reports, are they able to view them in the reports list? Are they able to view the standard reports?

They can see all standard reports but no custom reports.

I can help you access the custom report to the newly added user, JayDub.

 

The existing custom reports you saved are not automatically synced to the new user. For them to access the custom reports, we need to toggle them one by one.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In the Custom reports tab, click the report name under the Name column.
  2. Hit the Save customisation tab.
  3. Tick Save.

Go on to the next report name and do the same steps. Then, let the user log out and log back into QuickBooks Online (QBO) to view all the custom reports.

I am having the same issue.  This is an unacceptable resolution and needs to be fixed in the QuickBooks application.  Sharing a report with ALL should by definition automatically share it will new users.  If I have to go in and resave all my shared reports when a new user is added, that should be considered a bug.  And should be fixed.

I can see how time-saving it would be for a new user to access the saved reports in QuickBooks Online. Rest assured our engineering team is working nonstop to enhance the product and give the best experiences to all QuickBooks users. 

 

For now, you can share your feedback from QuickBooks. This way, our developers can consider the feature in one of the coming updates.

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Feedback under Profile.
  3. Share your feedback, then click Next.
