Hi Donna31,

To ensure your fixed asset appears as expected, let's review the filters applied to your list, as assets marked as non-depreciating may be excluded from view:

  1. On the Fixed Assets page, click the Filter dropdown.
  2. If any filters are applied, click the Reset button to clear them and display all transactions.
  3. Alternatively, you can set the Asset Account assigned to the asset, enter the Date when it was added, and change the Asset Status to Non-depreciating.

  4. Review the filtered list to see the relevant transactions.

Also, the asset might have been renamed in the list. To check, we can review the transactions matching the filters above and see if they correspond to the Purchase Price, Date, and Remaining Value of your asset.

Since this action can’t be tracked through an Audit Log, I suggest recreating the asset transaction if you still don’t find it there.

Feel free to reply if you need any additional help managing transactions in QuickBooks. We're just a post away to assist you.
