Hi
In desktop I could run a report which included the VAT filing date - this was very useful for checking
I have not found an option in QB online - does any one know if there is
Thanks
Charlotte
Hello, CLP417.
Right now, the option to have the VAT filling date shown in the report isn't available. I understand how the workflow you're looking for is beneficial to your business. In the meantime, what you can do is we can go to the Taxes then select VAT. Then from there, under the paid returns, you can see the VAT file date.

Thanks - but that doesnt help
In Desktop a report could be run where you could select vat filing and pick late invoices etc which were included in a later return. It is a complete faff to do this in the online where I have to sort reports by date/ entered date. I would consider it a basic report. A bit like a balance sheet report where you can select certain accounts/cost types, transaction nos being included in all reports , names including all names, journals which have a billing option; reports exported which can be outlined/grouped. All reports in the desktop version but not moved online
