You'll first have to unfile your CIS return to resubmit the corrected one, Maureen. I'll guide you on how to do this below.
When your CIS return is submitted in QuickBooks, all transactions for that period will be closed. Should you need to modify any CIS transactions from a period that has already been closed, it's necessary to unfile your return before making any changes. Here's how:
- Go to Taxes and select CIS.
- Select View Return on the period you wish to unfile.
- Choose Un-file. A message will appear asking you to confirm.
- Click Yes if you would like to continue.
- Select Done.
After that, go ahead and file or resubmit your CIS suffered report.
