Hello Accounts194, We will pass this feedback on about the CIS monthly returns screen. Can we ask you also in the cog in the top right and feedback add the feedback as well for the engineers. Since the change with being able to file directly in QB that section was changed but we do welcome all feedback.

There are only several steps to print individual CIS statements in QuickBooks, @accounts194

Reports provide adequate information on various aspects of the business. QuickBooks ensure all of your records are intact in the same menu so they’re easy to find when you need them.

Let me share instructions here so you can print them right away. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Enter/select CIS Payment and Deduction Statement in the search field.

  3. Click on Customize.

  4. Filter the date period.
  5. Under the Filter section, select the sub-contractor you have.
  6. Press Run report after.

  7. Select the Print icon beside the small envelop/email.

You can also email individual reports or save them as PDF by clicking the available buttons on the page.

I had worked out how to run this from the reports section, but I still don't understand why QB would have changed to a more lengthy process, when the original process was much quicker and easier to use.
The previous way of printing the CIS statements still seems to be there but only for about the past 3 months or so.  Can this not be put back to all months as it was previously, so that users have an option to print straight from the CIS monthly returns screen or if they want to, they can use the more laborious report section.

Thank you
