Hello -5str-co-uk, Thank you for your question about QuickBooks branding. It is not possible to remove the branding within the email template for the invoice in QuickBooks Online. We do see what you are saying about modifying the html code, that is not an option we have available for you. You could download the invoice and send via your own email by adding the QuickBooks invoice as an attachment as an alternative.
Thank you for your quick reply. Downloading the invoice and sending it through my email would be time-consuming, so I think I rule that out as an option, but equally, it does bother me to have an extra advertisement on my emails sent. Although I'm on an essential plan, it looks unprofessional and makes my business look cheap. Are there any plans to have that as an option in future?
Thanks for getting back to us, @-5str-co-uk. I'll be glad to guide you on how to submit feedback to our engineers, so they can consider removing the QuickBooks brand in invoice emails.
Currently, there is no specified date for when this option will be accessible in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We appreciate you for sharing your insights with us. However, it is subject for review and approval by our software engineers.
As long as you provide feedback to our Product Development team, rest assured we'll post updates on our website as soon as they become available. To do that:
You can visit our Customer Feedback page to check the status of your requests.
Additionally, QBO offers sufficient tools to design attractive sales forms. You may also decide which information to include when sending them to your customers.
Please know I'm just a few clicks away whenever you need further help handling your invoices. Just post a comment below, and I'll respond straight away. I hope you have a good day.
Who are you with at the moment @-5str-co-uk
(just out of interest)
I don't have huge numbers of invoices but have always downloaded the pdf files to send out from our company email service. Modifying the html code of the outgoing emails is useful but, unless the provider allows sending via SMTP (or modern equivalent), your customers are always going to see the name of the provider in the background.
Im with Zoho Books, and it has tons of customizations like HTML template editing, including adding your email so it appears to customers that it has been sent directly from you. No third-party branding at all. My accountant put me forward to Quicbooks because it only deals with this software, so I gave it a go, but it looks like ill have to look for a different accountant instead. I hope this helps.
I totally agree with all of your comments. Would like a QB online billing address so I could send them a branded email for the service of sending their logo to my customers!
