If you're referring to a Quicken account, I recommend contacting their Support Team for further guidance on finding and changing the categories in their platform.
However, if you're using QuickBooks Online, you can go to the Chart of Account page to review all the categories that exist in your bank feed.
- Go to the Transactions menu and select Chart of Accounts.
- If you want to update, find the category you want to modify and click the Account History drop-down arrow. Then, select Edit.
- Update all the necessary details.
- If you want to create a new category, click New in the upper-right corner of the Chart of Accounts page.
Once done, you can create a transaction and apply the appropriate category or use it when organizing your bank data in the bank feed.
