I received an email from ebay informing me that I had made a sale. I forwarded it to the QB receipts email address but QB recorded it as an expense rather than income. I was able to edit the amount in the Android app on my phone (which I didn't need to do) but was unable to delete the minus sign. In the end I used the laptop app to delete the minus sign. Is this a glitch in the phone app or was I not muttering the correct incantation at the time?

I appreciate you taking time to check this out, davepearson.
Since the previous troubleshooting steps did not work, we can try deleting and manually creating these transactions instead.

It would be great if you'd let me know the results. I want to make sure everything is working fine. Take care and have a good one!
Hey there, davepearson.
So far, we haven't received any similar issues reported. Performance issues in QuickBooks application are resolved by doing basic troubleshooting steps. Let's try to uninstall and reinstall the app and try to change the amount.

However, if you're still unable to edit the amount, I'd suggest getting in touch with our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support for further investigation.

Thanks for that helpful response. Reinstalling the app didn't change things so I contacted Customer Support. They asked for a screenshot and then replied with "This feature is currently not available in the mobile app but only on the computer/laptop".
So there you go, it can't be done. Good to know.
Six weeks later and this glitch is still not fixed.

Thanks for getting back to me Charies. Deleting and manually recreating transactions is a slightly less clumsy and annoying work-around for this glitch than signing in to my account via a web browser. If "less annoying" is what Quickbooks Self-Employed aspires to then they can continue to leave this glitch in the app.
