Why can I not view statements already sent to customers? The "how to create and send statements" guide includes this bit:
But there is no Statements tab, and you cannot filter transactions under a customer to show statements either.
The only way I can view previously sent statements is to produce a statement report and work from there - while this is handy, this is not acceptable to have as the only option; I should be able to see statements directly from the customer record.
Looking through the knowledge base it seems that this functionality has been removed over the last 18 months, and not replaced - in that case you need to update your "how to" guides and remove all reference to the Statements tab / filter in Customers or All Sales as these simply don't exist.

We've recently updated the interface in QuickBooks Online, however you should still see tabs showing for Transactions, Statements, and Customer Details on the Customer page.
To troubleshoot any loading errors, please try logging into QuickBooks on a different web browser. If you still don't see this here, begin a chat so we can view this further with you.

I have tried using a different browser; no change. Attached is a screenshot of what I do see - I will do a second reply with the Type drop-down showing that you cannot filter for Statements either (they don't appear in the transaction list so I can understand this not being an option) - there is literally no way in a customer record to view the statement.
I can only access it via the Statement List report - which isn't the easiest way to access a statement.
Hello Su WM, thanks for getting back to us with the screenshots, we suggest that you either begin a chat with one of our agents so this can be looked into more and they will be able to do a screenshare to see the whole picture more or you can ring our supportline on 0808 234 5337 the line is open Mon to Fri 8 am to 7 pm and is free from any UK landline or mobile, this again will allow the agent to set up a screenshare with you and look into this more for you.
