Custromer Specific Discount

Hi I've recently moved from Quickbooks Desktop to Online and am trying to replicate my Customer Discounts.

I have a standard price list

Customer A spends £1000 per year so gets 5% off all prices

Customer B spends £5000 per year so gets 7.5% off all prices.

This was easy in Desktop as each customer could have a discount tier setup.

Where is this on the Online version please?

Hello An Alarm Company,

Welcome to the Community page,

In the online you need to first turn that setting on in the system. to do this you need to go to the main cog wheel> account and settings>sales>under sales form content-turn on disocunt>save

Then if you go to the +icon and click on the invoice you should see the discount box at the bottom right-hand side if not click the cogwheel in the invoice and tick discount then click the x then you should see the discount box on the bottom right-hand side for you to then out the amount in.

Hi

Thanks for the reply, that's only a manual override feature really.

I would have to manually check every customers discount level then manually calculate the discount for every invoice?

Sounds a bit manual for a computer based product.

Desktop does it very well and automatically are you saying this is the only way?

That is the only way or you can just deduct the amount off the invoice on a second line . That is the only two ways you can do it on online. You can always leave feedback in the main cogwheel.
