Can we have different invoices with different invoice message for each invoice template?
We have different sets of customers we want to give different payment details hence we would need to bill using a different invoice layout. This will only make sense if we can put the unique banking details for each invoice template.
Please let me know.

Let me share some information about managing invoice templates in QuickBooks Online.
Updating a message from one of your template will update the message on all of the templates from the Custom Form Styles window. If you want to print or email your invoices in the future, you can also read the topics from this article as your guides. Post again if there's anything you need assistance with. I'm a few clicks away to help. Keep safe always!

@Angelyn_T Sounds complicated.

This does NOT solve the issue. QBO should allow for custom messages on each invoice template. What are you customizing if you cannot customize the message. It is also misleading. There should be a message alerting the user that if you change the message on one template, that all of the other templates are being updated as well.
Thanks for joining us here in the thread, @Nicole321.
I can see how important it is to have the ability to set different messages on different custom invoice templates here in QuickBooks Online (QBO). As of the moment, the feature is currently unavailable, and what I can do is I can input the steps below so you can send a feature request to our Product Development Team. This way, they'll see how brilliant your idea is and how QBO users can potentially benefit from it. To begin, here's how:
For now, you can consider manually writing the message on the template you'll use whenever you create an invoice in QBO.
In addition, here's an article to help you manage invoice payments in QBO: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
You can also visit this article about sending invoice reminder automatically in QBO: Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks Online.
Once again, I'd like to thank you for joining us here in the thread. If there's anything else that I can help you with, or if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns. Know that I'm here, and I've got you covered. Take care, and have a nice day.
Hi admin, has this issue been debugged and there is now a function to allow separate bank details for certain customers on invoices?
Thank you for following this thread, Hannah47.
I want to ensure I can provide the best solution to your concerns. However, I have to ask for more details to get on the same page.
May I know if you're asking if there's a feature that allows users to customize invoice messages for different invoices? Regarding the bank details, are you referring to a field on the mentioned transaction that allows you to enter a bank account?
I appreciate any information you can provide. I'm looking forward to working with you again, Hannah47. Have a great rest of the day.
Will they ever solve this? I don’t think they care. Seems like it would be a simple thing to do. QBDT was so good, they could just make qbo do the same and everyone would be happy.
Read the whole thread. This is what is we are looking to do. Different messages on different invoices. Seems so simple.
I can see how important it is to be able to set different messages on the different invoices, Jfoxtrot09.
You can let our product team know how this will benefit your business by sending a request. You can visit our Customer Feedback page and send your suggestions from there by clicking the Give Feedback option. I've added a screenshot for your visual guide:
In the meantime, you'll want to consider following the steps provided by @KurtKyle_M.
Additionally, QuickBooks offers different kinds of reports that tell the different aspects of your business. You'll just have to make sure to customise them so you'll get the information you need. Check out this article for more details: Customise Reports In QuickBooks Online.
