I use QuickBooks for one of my companies which is labour only, but have recently started another which involves a lot more retail of purchased goods. I have several quotes to do and I feel there must be an easy way to generate and estimate in QuickBooks, inputting the products at cost then add a markup on the whole estimate or similar? I’m currently in my trial of Online Pro and as I read this is somewhat possible in this version. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Titanium Roofing, There is not a way in QB online to add a mark up on estimates only on the bills/expenses(which is in the cog in the top right>account and settings>expenses>bills and expenses>mark up with a default rate. You could mark up at the pint of the bill if it were an estimate being converted to purchase order and then bill. Any queries on this further just reply back here in the Community!

What is Online Pro? Do you mean QB Online or QB Desktop Pro edition?
