There’s no direct option to mark the invoices as paid in QuickBooks Online. You’ll want to process payments to clear the transactions.
Here’s how you do it:
- From your left navigation pane, select the Sales menu.
- Go to the Invoices tab.
- Locate the invoice you want to show as paid.
- Click Receive payment under Action.
- Make sure the amount is correct, then hit Save and close.
After receiving their payments, you can now enter a deposit to match it to your downloaded transaction.
You can also link a bank deposit to an invoice to keep your records accurate and error-free when it’s time to reconcile your accounts.
