Changing the pop-up blocker’s setting to Allowed can help you get back on track creating an invoice.

The steps differ depending on the browser you’re currently using. Just select one that applies to your situation.

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the Three dot icon in the upper right hand.
  2. Scroll down and select Settings.
  3. Click on the drop-down for Advanced.
  4. Under Privacy and security, go to the Content settings section.
  5. Choose Pop-ups and redirects and move the slider to Allowed.

Firefox:

  1. In the upper right-hand corner, click on the Three horizontal lines and choose Options.
  2. Go to the Privacy & Security tab on the left panel.
  3. In the Permissions section, mark the box for Block pop-up windows
  4. In the Allowed Websites Pop-ups window, add qbo.intuit.com as an exception in the field box.
  5. Click on Allow and Save Changes.

Safari:

  1. Go to the Safari tab located at the top menu bar, then select Preferences.
  2. Choose Security at the top of the window.
  3. Uncheck the box Block pop-up windows to enable popups.

Check out the Why doesn't anything happen when I select a button or link article for more information.

After configuring the setup, go back to your company and create an invoice. If you continue to experience the same issue, let’s perform some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve browser-related issues.

To begin, open QBO via private window or incognito mode. When using these sessions, none of your information is saved or tracked along the way.

  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)

If you’re able to make a transaction without any issues, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This will force your browser to fetch all of the files for a website again, so you will see the most recent version of the page.

These steps should get you on the right path. Let me know if you get the chance to try all these suggestions and what the results are. I want to make sure you’re all set with this concern.
