Hello there, @jcmarkwick.

I'm here to ensure you can invite your accountant in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account. This way, you'll be guided on how to manage your financial data and keep your books accurate.

I know how important it is to ensure your invoices and other transactions are stored on your mobile app. You'll have to invite your accountant by logging in to your QBSE account on the web browser. The transactions that you have using the app are also available in the web version.

  1. Open a browser, and log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Go to  the Gear icon.
  3. Select Accountant under the About you column.
  4. Enter your accountant's email.
  5. Click Send invitation.

Once done, there'll be an invitation sent to your accountant. After he/she accepts it, he/she can access your data through through QuickBooks Online Accountant.

In addition, you can also send your company file and financial data to your accountant. The system will provide then the annual tax summary in PDF format and the annual tax details in XLS format. For the complete details, kindly refer to this article: Sending info to accountants.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
