Let's apply a supplier credit to any open or future bill, Susan. I'm here to show you how.
Suppliers often provide credit terms to companies, which enable them to delay payment for their purchases for a few days, weeks, or even months, depending on the country.
If you have not yet created a supplier credit, you will need to do so before it can be applied later on. However, if you have already established one and are ready to utilize it, here is how you can do it.
- Click on the + New button and select Pay bills.
- Choose the bill for your supplier from the list provided. The available credit with this supplier will be visible in the Credit Applied field.
- Complete the remaining fields as usual.
- Finally, click on Save or Save and close to complete the process.
