I can't upload transaction receipts to my Quickbooks self employed

Hi Everyone, I haven't been able to upload a transaction receipt for several weeks. The customer service has asked me for lots of screenshots but provided no real help or solution... Anyone in the same situation? Any advice? Please, I need help!!

There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequently accessed pages or damaged. When this happens, pages like accessing your report don't load properly.

 

As an initial step, let's access QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) using a private or incognito window. Kindly use either of the following shortcut keys:
 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If you can upload receipts without error, proceed to delete your browsing history to clear out the cache or data that's causing the issue. Use this article as a guide: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, try using a different browser to be more thorough.

 

On the other hand, ensure that the receipt file you're trying to upload meets the file size and format requirements of QuickBooks Self-Employed. Supported file formats are typically JPEG, PNG, and PDF. If the file size is too large, you may need to compress or resize the image before uploading.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Customer Support team. They can access your account in a secure environment, isolate the problem, and assist you in resolving it.

  1. Log in to your QBSE account.
  2. Click the Assistant button at the top.
  3. Type Contact Support on the chat box
  4. You'll now be provided with support options that are available at that time.
