I’m getting loads of duplicate transactions. Is there a fix for this?

It's possible that the bank account was added twice in QuickBooks Self-Employed, randomlemony.

This can be the reason why the transactions are downloaded twice in your account. Follow these steps to double-check and resolve the issue as well:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Bank Accounts
  2. If you can see that the account is added twice, go to the duplicate one and change or toggle the status to OFF to hide the account.

You can also manually exclude or delete the duplicate transactions so they don't show up in your reports. Here's how:

  1. Select all duplicate transactions in the Transactions menu.
  2. Click the Exclude button.

If you're using the mobile app, you can tap on each transaction and toggle to  Exclude on. You can also check out this article for more details: Handle duplicate transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You might also want to run your Profit and Loss, Tax Summary, and Tax Details reports to review the amounts of the transactions that you've categorized so far. Please go to the Reports menu and select a report.
