You can turn on Projects to do this, jmpsmith.

The Projects feature helps you track jobs for customers and suppliers. When you turn this on, you'll be able to allocate invoices, expenses, and CIS payments per job.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Under Your Company, select Account and Settings.
  3. Click Advanced on the left panel.
  4. Check the box for Organise all job-related activity in one place checkbox.
  5. Select Save, and then Done.

To create a project/job:

  1. Click Projects on the left panel.
  2. Select Add your first project.
  3. Enter the job's name and select a customer who will receive the invoices.
  4. Click Save.

Lastly, you can follow these steps to allocate transactions to a project:

  1. From the Projects page, click the job you've created earlier.
  2. Click the Add to project button in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Select Invoice, Expense, or Receive Payment.
  4. Enter the transaction and click Save.
