Hello there, Douglas Porter.
Thanks for the detailed information about your banking concern. To get you back on track, let’s perform some basic troubleshooting steps.
To import data successfully with a CSV file, you must use either the 3-column or 4-column temple. If an incorrectly formatted file is uploaded, the option will gray out or you will receive an error.
Here’s an article that contains information on how to refine the formatting of the template. These tips will help you successfully upload the file: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
After reviewing the spreadsheet, you can start importing it to QBSE. Let me help and guide you through the process.
If you get the same result, sign in to QBSE using the incognito mode or private browsing. This is to identify if this is a cache-related issue.
Here’s how:
If you can import the transactions smoothly, clear the cache of your regular browser. When you visit a website, the browser stores information, files, downloads, etc.
These old files can cause some display or access problems. Clearing the cache will help applications run better on your computer including QBSE. Otherwise, use another browser when importing the transactions.
For additional resources, this article provides information on how to bring transactions to QBSE and steps to categorize them: Manually import transactions.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you find in QBSE. I’m always here to assist further. Have a good one.
I am not sure, yet you may explore to utilize the trial license of this converter app.
