It's very easy to create an invoice in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Though, the best option I can suggest is to create two or multiple invoices since split invoice is unavailable. You can just mark the other one as paid, then send a copy of the receipt.
These are the steps on how to do it:
- Go to the Invoices tab, select Create invoice.
- Enter all details needed. Select Send invoice.
- From the Invoices page, locate the invoice you created. Click the Mark as paid.
- On the pop-up, select Send to send a payment receipt.
