You can add a location to your existing expenses and bills in QuickBooks Online Accountant and Advanced all at once. The Reclassify Transactions tool is a great way to simplify this task.
Here’s an overview of how to do it:
- Open QuickBooks Online Accountant or Advanced.
- Navigate to the Accountant tools or Gear icon ⚙ in Advanced and select Reclassify transactions.
- From the Account types drop-down, select Profit and loss or Balance sheet.
- Filter the transactions you want to update by using the type, class, customer/vendor, and modify filters.
- Tick the box for each transaction you want to change.
- Select Reclassify.
- To add the location, click the Change location to dropdown ▼ and pick the one you wish to use for the transactions.
- When you’re ready, select Apply.
