What exactly happens when you try and open it on your phone?
Do you get any error messages or anything showing at all when you try and open the email invoice?
Hi. Apparently not every phone or computer can open QB invoices even if its the most recent device "I've been told"
I have had this issue for 2 years as you don't really know what a client has or hasn't opened even if it says SEEN as this does not mean the full invoice with all breakdown has been opened completely
I also was under the impression they were updating these issues also but nothing to date....
1Allow ability to change the heading to something other than only Invoice.
2. Shoukd not show the price/Bill/Cost untill the complete invoice has been opened to allow the client to see all data at same time.
3. Only show SEEN if the client has opened the full invoice not just clicked on links as this does not show the invoice fully opened.
Hello Clearwaysconstru, We do thank your comments as regards the seen, for invoices sent, yes if they look at the email but do not click on view invoice it will not bring full breakdown but will show as seen, you have the option of amending the invoice to online text in the cog> account and settings>sales>online delivery which will mean they do not need to click on anything the full breakdown will be there or alternatively downloading the invoice and attaching it as a pdf from your own email. The view invoice when clicked will go to another hyperlink so on a mobile phone there may be protection which blocks links from emails being opened because of spam, certainly the I-phone has increased security on this.
You can change the header to something other than invoice in the cog>custom form styles>edit >content>the top third>form names>remove invoice and type in what you want to appear to the customer when sent.We can pass on your feedback regarding the other 2 points.
