I use Quickbooks self-employed and uploaded a receipt a week ago but it's still showing as pending 'Gathering receipt details...'. How do I clear it? I've looked at other similar posts but I don't have a 'Needs action' folder in the Transactions menu so can't follow the instructions in other posts to clear it.
Also, my home page says I have 3 transactions to review but when I click 'Review now' I get 'We didn't find anything', the only transaction that shows is the pending one ??? I've tried changing the transaction filters but can't find the 3 unreviewed transactions.

Hello Charlotte47, so the 3 transactions to review showing on the home tab, is a visual error since there is showing pending receipts, If the pending receipts will be removed, there will be no transactions showing on the home tab to be reviewed. We suggest you wait another 24 hours to see if there will be needs action notification. If the system will just remove it within time and it is just a case of uploading the receipt again.
Hi, I have waited and the receipt is still pending. I have no options to remove it and no notification for 'needs action'.

Please can you add me too and update this thread as and when you find a solution as I am experiencing the same problem. I do not understand why there is not a simple 'Delete' option for removing receipts...sometimes mistakes do happen and wrong receipts are uploaded!!

Hello Sarloubra1, thanks for posting on the thread, so there was an investigation on pending receipts and from Our investigation has concluded that the behaviour you are experiencing is expected as currently, we don't have the option to delete pending transactions. The engineering team have decided that as a resolution to the behaviour, they will include this option in a feature enhancement in the future.
