Hi all,
I have a problem with notifications. My finance staff message me, from an invoice, when they wan't me to provide an online authorisation. The message is sent from their QBO account to me, but I don't know where I can pick these messages up now as the notification icon (A green message symbol) does not show anymore. I still get email notifications but the links in these emails don't force my browser to open to the specific invoice that the message was generated from. Mystified as to why this functionality has dissappeared and how I can look at my notifications/messages.

Would I be able to ask which notifications you are referring to are these the E-mails which you receive when one has been sent to your customer? If this is the case what I would advise is checking the account and settings to do this first select the 'Cog Wheel' in the top right corner of your dashboard and select 'Account and Settings' now select the Sales tab on the left hand side and select the Messages section and tick the box where its says 'Email me a copy at (Your E-mail)' now when ever an Invoice is sent to the customer you will receive a copy.

Thanks for reseponding richard, i was refering to a message notification which normally appeared to the right of the 'plus' button on my dashboard/homescreen.
Clicking on this missing icon would usually bring up a pop up that showed messages I have been sent by my finance staff. The messages have been sent to me from a screen which displays individual payments that have been posted. It's possible from an invoice or other areas in QBO to message other individuals within the same company. This functionality still works, in terms of sending but i can't see a way access it as the receiver. Hope tha makes sense!

Thanks also for the screenshot as this does clear up what it is we are looking for. I've tried recreating this on my own system and mine is showing the same as yours without the notification.
I have just check this with one of my colleagues and I don't believe this is a current feature within the product and may have been removed in an update.
Of course I can understand this is not what you are wanting to hear so I am going to continue to chase this up for confirmation and to see if we have any workarounds for contact among you and your employees. Please keep an eye out on this page and I will be back as soon as I have any additional information.
