Hi,
I am reconciling a new Paypal account for the past year - I have connected Paypal to bring in the transactions and there are hundreds of transaction differences so I am keen to avoid a lengthy manual reconciliation
I am thinking:
1. Can I just remove the imported Paypal transactions and manually import the past year from a Paypal CSV with all transactions - so then the transactions in Quickbooks will match Paypal?
2. Is there any feature or ap that will get a list of all missing transactions by comparing the transactions in Quickbooks with the Paypal exported CSV of all balance effecting transactions?
Hello, Spada02.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. To answer your first question, Yes, you can remove the transactions you've imported in QBO and manually add them using a CSV file to prevent any duplicates or discrepancies in your account.
Here's how to delete the imported transactions:
Once excluded, these transactions will show up in the Excluded tab, and that's where you can delete them. Here's how:
After that, you can now proceed with manually importing them again. For further guidance with the process, consider checking out these articles:
Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, you can now match and categorise them.
To answer your second question, In QuickBooks, there are a lot of Apps offer that integrate with QuickBooks. However, I can't suggest which specific app fits your need. I would recommend checking our App store. From there, you can select the App that suits your business needs.
Always feel free to comment below if you have more clarifications or questions. I'm looking forward to assisting you again.
