Recurring Transactions input till receipts

For the past two days I am having problems imputing my till receipts under the recurring transactions page (cash deposits).

I have 5 different categories on my till (some have different tax codes) but after I've inputted the second category, the summary of the transactions showing at the top of the page is incorrect (always more) as an example I imputed cat 1 £9 the cat 2 £10 cat 3 £10 and cat4 £100 .......and the summary of these transactions at the top of the page showed £138  !?!

For the second day running it's done this and it's driving me mad - is anyone else having this problem ?  I can't enter my takings as QB is clearly having a problem done basic maths !

Recurring Transactions input till receipts

I should add that when I add the first category the summary at the top is correct - it's only as I add the next categories does the summary total start getting corrupted, adding more than the input figure I put in ?

I appreciate you sharing details of your concern, jdybnsn.

This issue with incorrect calculations of recurring transactions can often be caused by a large pile of cache in your browser. There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequently-accessed pages or damaged.

We can follow some troubleshooting steps to fix this. First, let's try using a private or an incognito browser. Follow these keyboard shortcuts to start an incognito session:

Kindly use either of the following shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

If this works, proceed to delete your browsing history to clear out the cache or data that's causing the issue. Use this article as a guide: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, try using a different browser to be more thorough.
