Hello Tobi O

Thanks for getting back to us with more information.

Okay we have checked the background of your Self Employed account and can see the Revolut account has connected with the bank balance if the transactions were received today there may not update into the QuickBooks until 24 hours have passed which would usually be tomorrow but with it being a bank holiday, we would advise to check Friday and if no transactions have pulled through please reach back out here and we will raise this to our banking tier 2 team.

Revolut transactions

Hi Tobi O

Are you receiving any type of error message or code on the banking screen? Can we confirm is it a current account or savings account you have with Revolut? Can we also ask you to try loading the QuickBooks Self Employed in a browser in a private window and going to the cog in the top right>bank accounts>refresh all.

Does it upload the transactions?

Thanks

Revolut transactions

Hi Emma,

There is no message on the bank accounts screen and shows the Revolut accounts.  The account is a current business account. I have tried the private window and refresh all- no update on transactions. I have had three deposits into the account this morning since I connected the Revolut account to QB, I assume these should be showing on the transaction page? All the transaction page is as follows:

Want to follow your money? Start by collecting your transactions here.

Thanks,

Tobi

We've connected Revolut Business to our Quickbooks Online. It is pulling the transactions successfully, however, it is not populating the photos of the receipts from Revolut Business to our Quickbooks Online.

I'll share some information on how QuickBooks Online (QBO) shows the photos of your receipts, @christian-marwic.

Once you've connected your bank account (Revolut Business) to QBO, it'll only download your transactions. Thus, it doesn't populate the photos of the receipts. You'll need to upload the receipts manually to show in your QBO account. Here's how:

  1. Click Bookkeeping from the left menu, then select Transactions.
  2. Go to the Receipts tab.
  3. Select Upload from computer or Upload from Google Drive. Make sure each photo or file should only contains a single receipt or bill.

I'm adding this article for more information: Upload your receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online. This will also provide details on which receipts you can and cannot upload to QBO.

Once you're ready to reconcile your bank account in QuickBooks, you can check out this article for more guidance: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online. This will help make sure your QuickBooks transactions match your bank statement.

Come back to this post if you have other concerns or follow-up questions about uploading receipts. The Community team and I are always here to help.

Hi Christian,

I had the same problem. Did you ever resolve it?
I do not want to have to re-upload EVERY Receipt!

Hello Ant, so like mark has said you would need to manually upload the receipts to show in your qbo account, it doesn't do it automatically for you.
