Use of QB for reporting in France

We are currently using Xero for a UK company that has a branch in France.

The French accountant says that Xero is not suitable as it does not give a transaction number to each transaction.

Is QuickBooks suitable for downloading the appropriate reports for French reporting?

Use of QB for reporting in France

Hi David, thanks for your interest in QuickBooks - we do offer custom transaction numbers, although these are limited to sales forms (including customer invoices, sales receipts, estimates) and purchase orders. Purchase transactions contain fields to enter the bill no./reference no., however, these aren't automated, and so the txn no. would need to be entered manually each time.
