We started using QB from the first April and were wondering how we put the outstanding invoices still owed by customers onto our new system as they were prior to April

Hello, @stevetrout.

 

You can import your customer's outstanding invoices to QuickBooks. Let me first share with you a screenshot of the sample file format that you can use in importing your invoices.

Once the file is ready, you can now import it. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear Icon.
  2. Choose Import Data.
  3. Select the Invoices box.
  4. Click the Browse button.
  5. Locate the CSV file that contains your customers' outstanding invoices.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Map the columns of the imported file to the invoice fields.
  8. Click Import.
