When I’m typing an invoice out It stutters really bad I’ve uninstalled the app the reinstalled it But it’s still doing it and it’s only just started happening any help

When I’m typing an invoice out It stutters really bad I’ve uninstalled the app the reinstalled it But it’s still doing it and it’s only just started happening any help

Let me help fix the issue while working on your invoice on the mobile app, chris.

 

Since the issue persists after you re-install the app, you can consider updating the software on your device. Or clearing the data on the app to fix it.

 

I've outlined the instructions below on how to clear the data on the app.

 

  • For QuickBooks Online app:
     
    • Android - Select the menu at the top right and choose Settings. Then, select Refresh Data and choose Yes.
    • iOS - Select the menu at the top right and then choose Help & Feedback. Then select Refresh Data and Refresh.

  • In your Phone Settings:
    • Android - From your phone's settings, select Apps (varies by device). Choose the QuickBooks app from the list and select Storage. Select clear data.
    • iOS - From your phone's settings, select Settings, then, click on General and choose iPhone Storage. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.

 

Once done, re-open the app and manage again your invoices.

 

Please know that QuickBooks Online requires iOS 11.1 or newer. Check out these links to get the app and what requirements you need.

 

You can also log in to your QuickBooks account via a web browser and manage your invoices from there.

If the issue persists on the mobile app, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Team. They can investigate why the app crashes while working on your invoices.

Hi chris353 What IOS version are you using and is the issue only happening when using the invoice function?
