If the app’s local cache is "bloated," the hardware memory can struggle with these tax computations, triggering a "hard-stop" to protect your company file from data corruption.
Before we refresh the data, let's ensure your "tools" are up to date:
- Please visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Ensure you are running the latest version of QuickBooks.
- Are you on a stable 5G or Wi-Fi connection? If your signal "flickers" while the app is trying to sync your service details to the server, it can cause the app to quit.
If you're up to date and your signal is strong, let’s clear that "clogged" memory.
For iOS:
- Open the QuickBooks App and tap the Menu.
- Go to Help & Feedback.
- Tap Refresh Data and select Yes.
Note: If the issue persists, do a fresh start by deleting the app and then reinstalling it from your App Store.
For Android, tap Menu, then Settings, tap Refresh Data. Click on Yes to confirm.
If you are in a rush to send that invoice now, you can bypass the app by opening Safari or Chrome on your phone and going to qbo.intuit.com. Log in there, it’s the full web version of QuickBooks, so it’s much more stable if the app is having a moment.
