Why it’s not updating my transactions?

Refreshing the bank connection can resolve this issue, Nelly-Kuld. I'd be more than happy to guide you through this process to ensure everything is working smoothly.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), accounts connected to online banking will require some consent reconfirmation every 90 days. However, we can manually update your bank to check for your most recent bank data.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage account.
  3. Click the Refresh All radio button multiple times to update your banks.

Also, your bank may be performing some system maintenance, or it can be the notifications that need your attention. If so, I recommend logging into your bank website.

In the meantime, here is an article you can visit about downloading your transactions using a CSV file in QBSE: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks.

Moreover, you can categorise the transactions you download from your financial institution for future reference. Additionally, by establishing bank rules, you can streamline the classification of recurring transactions involving the same customers or suppliers.

The Community is on hand to assist you with updating your transactions or addressing any QuickBooks-related issues you may encounter. Feel free to respond below if you have any questions or need further assistance.
