To activate these within your QuickBooks, please go to Taxes > Edit VAT > Edit Rates > Select the small cog > Tick 'include inactive' and slide on the 20% RC CIS and 5% RC CIS codes.

Thanks for that , when I'm raising an invoice to a cis customer and have selected cis labor and cis materials this is the message I'm getting . Im obviously doing something wrong
You can't select CIS VAT codes for a non CIS product/service or category.
I am having the same problem?
Its works on the CIS labour (20)% but not on the CIS materials -send Help

When you turn on CIS, we’ll create the accounts you need to be able to track it. That means, when you create CIS transactions we’ll calculate the CIS withheld.
If the CIS materials option is unavailable, it would be best to contact our support team. They have the right tools to further investigate this matter. You can also have a screen sharing for the representative to check your account and resolve the issue.
