We recently moved from QB Enterprise to QB Premier, and we would like to change the VAT quarter dates while filing to HMRC. Any suggestions on how to change the VAT quarter period in QuickBooks Premier?
Welcome to the Community page,
If you go to Suppliers > Supplier Centre > HMRC VAT > edit the supplier > VAT Settings you can make the changes there.
Hi @Ashleigh1 , No we used to use the bridging tool to file VAT. Now that we have migrated to QuickBooks desktop, i would like to align the VAT filing dates to actuals. So our VAT quarter filing period is
1 - Dec - Feb - Filed end of March
2 - Mar - May - Filed now
3 - Jun - Aug - Filed end of Sept
4 - Sept - Nov - Filed end of Dec
In QuickBooks, the default filing quarter is showing January to March, and I need to modify it to March to May as per my filing to HMRC.
