How do I register an invoice with certain items with VAT and others with none?

You can navigate to the Invoice page and select the VAT category, Alison.

Here’s how:
 

1. On your invoice page, add the item under the Product/service section.
2. In the VAT column, select the VAT rate for taxable items.
   
   
   
   
3. For non-taxable items, select No VAT (0%).
4. Fill in the necessary information to complete the process.
   
   

You can use Inclusive tax if the tax is already part of the item's price, or Exclusive tax if it’s not added to the total cost.
 

Also, you can edit your item and assign its VAT category on the Product & services page, and it will automatically appear on the invoice.
