I want to post daily sales journals from our POS system using amounts from POS summary and not recalculate VAT ie I want to manually input the VAT number?

I want to post daily sales journals from our POS system using amounts from POS summary and not recalculate VAT ie I want to manually input the VAT number?

We want to make sure your daily sales are calculated accurately, clive-invicta-ac.

 

In the case your Point of Sale (POS) system is not yet integrated with QuickBooks Online,  you can enter a single sales receipt to report the total daily sales. If there's no VAT calculation, manually select the No VAT. Otherwise, you can choose the VAT code for each transaction.

 

However, if you're POS system is integrated with QuickBooks via a third party, I'd suggest reaching out to them to ensure the calculation is correct.
