The tax is no longer on my menu can't summit a vat return

Hi there, Brighthouse.

To isolate your concern, let's access the Taxes page using a private browser to determine whether this issue is browser-related.

Here's how to open an incognito in all supported browser:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Press Ctrl Shift N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command Shift N for Safari.

Then use this link to access the Taxes page: https://c14.qbo.intuit.com/app/tax/home.

If you have the Taxes menu, then I recommend clearing the cache of your regular browser. This to delete any contents stored from there and allows QuickBooks Online (QBO) to function more efficiently.

Here's the link for reference: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?.

However, reach out to our QuickBooks Support Team if the problem persists. They have more tools to look into this further.

You can reach them by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to QBO.
  2. From the Help menu, click on Contact us.
  3. Enter your concern in the What can we help you with? field and select Let's talk.
  4. Choose either Chat or Get a callback.

Let me know if you have any follow-ups or other concerns. I'll be here to keep helping. Have a great day.
