Hello Marv1n,
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I'd be glad to share some information on how to switch back to QBOP.
Our Chat Support Specialists will need to send the e-mail template that you need to complete to confirm the changes to your payroll. One of them will need to pull up your account and process the escalation in your behalf.
Here's how you can reach them:
Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you regarding your subscription. The Community will always have your back.
I too am considering making a move from Paysuite (£1 per employee per month) to Quickbooks Online Payroll ("QBOP"). QBOP is also £1 per employee per month. I was advised to send an email to:
qboap underscore support at intuit dot com
This does not seem to answer the question. Why is the process such a secret that it cannot be described online? Saying (effectively) "Call us and give us full access to your accounts, and then we will tell you" is very worrying.

Hi 123145624970657
If you would like to switch from Paysuite to the Standard or Advanced payroll you will have to contact us to enable our Tier 1 agents to create a case and escalate the request to our Tier 2 agents who will action the switching of the payroll system. The Tier 1 agent will also have to send you a template disclaimer which you have to send back and is added to the information for the Tier 2 department.
Thank you for your reply, but I am still unclear as to what happens during the switch and how much work and involvement I will have. For example, do I hand over control of my whole QBO accounts to your Tier 2 team? Will they remove all my payroll history and employee (past and present) information? Is it then down to me to re-input that information? If so, are there any short cuts to achieve that?
Regards, Richard

Hello,
Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts in this process - you can export information such as employee details, to then re-import into the system; however in my experience it's often still much faster to manually re-create the information than having to format any files the system will let you import, such as employee details for example. You will need to set up the default settings for the payroll manually, prior to any imports as applicable.
We normally recommend exporting and saving copies of all reports, all payslips and historical pay-details, as we do not maintain them. The information on PaySuite will be completely deleted upon this switch whereas i know you need to maintain your records for 6 years.
When you switch to our Advanced Payroll for example, you have so much customisation, it's worth spending the time to manually create it; so you can specify the settings exactly the way you want them. Every employee can be given slight variations of the default settings - which goes above and beyond Paysuites functionality.
Our standard payroll doesn't allow you to import any information, and you will only have the option to manually import the data.
Further to my last, I have now received the template disclaimer from your Tier 1 agent. It worries me that it asks me to authorize that I: "understand that switching to QBOP will mean I lose all of my currently entered payroll data. I also understand that I will have to recreate my payroll and re-enter the required data". That does not sound as if the "Tier 2 agents will action the switching of the payroll system". So I am nervous, unless you can assure me that there is an easy efficient way for me to recreate and re-enter the data.
Richard.
Thanks for your reply. Our messages were posted simultaneously. I now understand what I have to do .... and dread the thought! But needs must.

I understand. It's a big task; but it will be worth it in the end. Let us know if you need anything further.
