Thank you for that
No its on the banking tab that I am given 2 options;
1. Connect bank feed
2. Upload transactions
I am being forced to make a choice when I simply need to input the transactions manually.
How do I get passed this screen and see the normal banking screen?
There is no need for you to bank connect if you just want to enter manual banking transactions. Just to the Bank Register and will see all the bank related transaction.
If you don't have a bank account, just create a new one from your Chart of Accounts.
Bottom line: You can completely ignore BANKING tab if no need for bank feed.
To do this task:
From the left dashboard > Select Accounting > Chart of Accounts
To add New account:
Once you're on the Chart of Accounts page > Select New button on the top right corner and follow the instructions.
To View Banking transactions:
Go the Chart of Accounts page from the left Dashboard Accounting and on the Chart of Accounts, select Bank account in question and click View register under Action column.
You can even manually add transactions if needed. Just select ADD (type) under Date column.
Normally, to Create a new manual transaction, select "+" sign on top. You will see it recorded in the register.
Hope this helps!

The page you’re currently opening is for online banking, arandhaccountanc.
The online banking feature in QuickBooks allows you to download transactions automatically. In this page, you’ll also be able to download information manually through CSV file.
Though, if you want to enter these transactions by yourself, you can do it by creating a deposit or writing a cheque. Just make sure to use the right bank account in QuickBooks when doing so.
We always have our doors open, so please visit us again if you need anything.
