Hi,
whenever I input text into the “add product or service” box in the quick books self employed invoice, there is some text missing from the end, it doesn’t state how much text you can input but quite often I have to add another product or service to show all of my text on the invoice.
I can’t find any info regarding this and it’s quite frustrating realising there is missing info once you have sent the invoice!

Hi Talia,
if you look at the last wording in the text box you will see it stops halfway through a word, there were about 7-8 words missing from this.
I run a property maintenance business so each job is different and I input the services I have performed into the text box, but it keeps deleting some wording at the end!

Looking at this further yes there is a limit. You can use the message to customers if you need a long explanation or add another line. We will pass this on as feedback to our product team.
We do have small business packages were you can add attachments to invoices if you need a long description it is just not yet a feature in QuickBooks Self Employed
