invoice -wrong business name?

Hi just joined and have made a draft of my first invoice, but where the business name should be, it is my email. How do I change the invoice so it says my business name? Thanks

Hello there, Northernboo.

Good to see you in the Community. Let's review your account settings to make sure the business name in the sales forms is correct.

I've attached some screenshots to serve as a visual reference of the options that you need to choose with the steps provided by my colleague JenoP.

If you can't still find this option, open your QuickBooks in private browser to see if you get the same result. Browsing privately disables the cache from saving your browsing data, and it's a good way to check if this unexpected behavior is caused by a full cache. For Safari, open it and press Command + Shift + N.

If this works fine with the private window, you'll need to clear your browser's cache to keep this from happening again.

I'd also recommend you visiting our Blog to check the latest feature added to the program, as well as additional references while working with your QuickBooks.

I have the steps on how to edit the company details, JEH73.

You can go to the Account and Settings section to update the business information. Please follow these steps:

Click the Gear icon and look for Account and Settings.
Go to the Company tab and click the Pencil icon beside Company name.
Enter the correct business name that will be shown on sales forms and purchase orders.
Click Save.

P I can’t find the option they talk about on the online (safari) version of quick books but I did find it on the iPhone app:-

1) go to the little head in the circle in the top left

2) tap on “Invoice Contact info”

3) edit your invoice details there.
