Save time and improve accuracy on your bookkeeping every day. Our new AI powered bank feed learns from your behaviour to automatically suggest categories for your transactions, explaining every recommendation so you can review and approve with confidence.

The current manual process of posting bank feed transactions can be time-consuming, preventing you from focusing on other value-added client activities. Our new bank feed aims to boost accountant efficiency by bringing:

• “Inline editable” fields for category, vendor, class, location, and product/service, so that you do not need to open up an overlay to edit and post transactions.
• Suggestions for payee, with the ability to add a new payee directly from the editable drop-down box without leaving the bank feed.
• Explanations for each payee, category, and matching suggestion to provide full transparency on why each suggestion was made. For example, the explanation will include examples of previous transactions you categorized for this vendor.

Importantly you’re always in control, you can always edit directly in the transaction, and QuickBooks will learn from your changes.

We've also maintained all the capabilities of the old bank feed, including the ability to create rules, view categorization history, split transactions, exclude transactions, mark transactions as transfers or credit card payments, add or remove columns, resize columns, and group transactions.

Highlights include:

• Accounting method name add to the Report footer
• Non multi currency reports now show currency only on totals and groups
• Honoring Account Number preference in reports

New! Create and manage sales orders

QuickBooks Online Advanced and Plus

You’ll soon be able to create, update and manage sales orders directly within the platform, helping you accurately manage and track inventory availability in real-time. And helping prevent overselling and streamlining the order lifecycle.

To create a sales order, in QuickBooks Online go to + New, then select Sales order and choose which customer the sales order is for.

Note sales orders will only be available in QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced.
